Recommended Not to bad overall. But as far as helping with recovery Im not so sure. I seemed pretty sore this month. But in return I did go up alot in weight!!! In 2 months Ive went from 209 to 202, 39.5 inch waste to 36 and my arm size and chest size are the same!!! I was looking for a low carb low fat protien and I think this one is good if that is what u want?? My buddy uses this and really likes it. I just orederd him more and Im going to try the new Hydro Whey this month am starting it Tomorrow.

Recommended Im on my seccond tub of this product. it is my first whey powder drink i have bought am im glad its the first. it probly doesnt get much better then this. the taste is great i go with vanilla it reminds me of melted vannilla ice cream which is the bomb! i drink one scoop with my breakfast and anouther imidiatly after a workout. last month i stacked with Anabolic Halo and i belive it was intrumental in helping me put on 5 pounds of lean mass. this month i switched to Cell-Tech hardcore and i expect to see the same results actually better. i havnt experienced any side effects. this product should be the backbone of anyone interested in supplementing.

Recommended Just about done with a 5lb jug of this stuff, and so far its lived up to the hype. i take 2 scoops with breakfast and 2 scoops post-workout to get the most out of it, but unfortunately it doesnt last very long. the recovery is great. i workout in the middle of the day during the semester, so i cant exactly be dragging ass into class when tuition keeps goin up. the strength gains i've gotten are good, almost all my stats went up across the board. the one con i have is the flavour. dont buy "rich milk chocolate shake" cuz its utter crap. always mix with milk to atleast make it bearable. the complex it has is great, & all those BCAAs and other stuff make it worth yer while...which is good considering the price. luckily a Vitamin Shoppe opened up by me, so their running a huge grand opening sale. i was able to get it at $49.99 with the sale and mebership discount...but be forewarned regular price pushes $100 for the 5lb jug...all in all i'll agree with everyone else and say it is possibly the best protein blend out there, and you most definitely get what you pay for.

Recommended What can I say Pro Complex is the best protien out there, along with many other Optimun proteins. You cant beat the ingredients in this. 10 grams of glutamine and 26 g of BCAA's plus all the vitamins. This is a true winning combination. I have noticed great strength increases since I have started using Pro Complex about a year ago. Also all the glutamine really aids on recovery. I have tried Banana Cream and Rocky Road flavors. Both taste great and mix very well. I also enjoy mixing them to make some new flavor combos. The only down side to this product is the price. It's well worth it though. I highly recomend this product to any serious athlete.

Recommended Best protein I have used to date. Rocky road is the best protein flavor on the market. One problem...this is a pricey protein. I finished one tub and now I am using 100% gold standard for price reasons. But if you want to spend the money, this stuff is good.

Recommended I have just started taking this protein and I gotta say that it's the best bang for your buck protein drink out there. You get 60 grams of protein from just 2 scoops. You don't need to mix it with too much water which in turn means none of that bloated feeling. Tastes great too. Recovery time is quicker ever since I started taking this product. I have tried MuscleMilk, True Mass and CytoGainer and nothing comes close to the nutritional value per serving(60grams protein) plus the amount of servings per bottle. Great product and will continue to use this product for a long time.

I could be wrong here but I believe you are reviewing the ProComplex Gainer, which is a different product and has it's own page. I assume this because you are comparing a "non-mass" product to two gainers. I too have taken the ProComplex Gainer and love it but this product review is for the not-so-calorie-packed Pro Complex. Still a good review though.

Recommended This protein has one of the best profiles out there. Very high levels of amino's and particularly Glutamine, which makes this a fantastic protein to have in your arsenal. I decided to try and replace my other proteins with Pro Complex and see what kinds of results I got. I dropped my Dark Matter for a while and started using this for my recovery as well. Not too shabby! I have to give it up to ON again, and even though this isnt the first time Ive used Pro Complex, it was the first time I tried to use it almost exclusively. As far as recovery goes, I really have to hand it to ON, I thought that I was going to notice a huge difference from Dark Matter, but there was only a little. Dark Matter has creatine and waxy maize which I had kind of gotten used to, and that "second pump" that it gives me I missed a little. But Pro Complex left me feeling good in the recovery department! Also, knowing I was getting 60 grams of protein (from a blend) made me feel like I was feeding my body what it needed in the right amounts post workout. Overall, this product has a great profile, one of the best Ive seen. Its a little pricier than some others, but it works so its worth every penny. Taste is decent, better than I expected really. The chocolate tastes like instant hot cocoa that you mixed in water, and with milk its delicious. I took Animal Pak, Kre Alkalyn 1500, and have started the Asteroid Stack again since Ive been using it, and man the results are quick, noticeable, and solid. And again, the recovery is surprising with Pro Complex. If youre looking for a real protein product thats going to help you achieve your goals, look no further.

Zero - I've been consuming protein shakes for over 10 years and Pro Complex (at least for those of us with the first whey proteins) is by far and away better tasting than a mountain of other protein products. I am not sure which proteins you have tried and liked better, or maybe you just have a much different expectance of what these should taste like. N-LargeII is an ok gainer but does not taste nearly as good as anything form Optimum. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and has different tastes but once you've gone through a few different brands, come back to anything from Optimum and I'd be surprised if you didnt enjoy it.

Lol, Bro, You and I would get along great. I know you said youre new to building and supplementation, trust me there are A LOT of proteins out there that tastes far worse. Im trying Nitro Core 24 right now, Ive got 2 6# tubs, and I want to see how it stacks up against PC. So far, it tastes great. But Ill let you know how it goes if you'd like.

Lol I don't understand how people can actually think Pro-Complex tastes good. It's an awesome product no doubt, but it's the worst tasting protein I've ever used, period.

Recommended I have taken both the "Natural" Pro Complex and the Regular Pro Complex with good results. The taste does leave something to be desired of and the Natural Pro Complex is flat out nasty tasting. I took a 5lb tub of Natural Vanilla and a 5lb tub of regular Rocky Road. The Rocky Road is much more tolerable. I think that this is a great product and have had good results with it. I however am going to move on and try the 100% Whey due to the fact that I take the Casein morning an night and only use the Pro Complex post workout and one scooped mixed with the Casein.
Since my needs are different than others and due to the fact that I take the casein I do not feel that the different types of protein are necessary (especially since I get them in my diet). While this is a very good product I will be moving on to another ON product.I had good gains, good recovery and overall good results with this product, I am just not sure it suits my needs as well as 100% Whey will. We shall see if that holds true in the near future. I give this product a 9, with the only knock being that it does not have the best taste, but hey we aren't in it for taste, but results. Solid product!

Recommended I really like this stuff. Over the past ten weeks I've been working out almost daily. I've gained plenty of strength and lean mass and lost 20 Lbs. of fat. I don't think it tastes bad at all. One of the better ones I've tried. Great recovery. I push myself harder and harder every workout and this stuff helps me get back in there the next day.

Recommended On paper this stuff cant be beat. 60g from whey and egg, tons of glutamine, aminos and vitimans. Few dollars more than other protiens but its deffinetly worth it. As far as real world results it is just as good. Tastes good mixes well and produces results. Recovery is good sorness goes down and 2 scoops after workout and i packed on about 4-5 pounds of muscle on this stuff (plus some creatine). I love it and highly recommended it

Recommended I started taking Pro Complex about a month ago. I take two scoops before bed every night. I have recovered a lot faster getting this protein in me over night and I'm not as sore the next day. I love it. Try making a milk shake in a blender with a scoop of the Creamy Vanilla. Tastes pretty good.

Recommended ProComplex is probably one of the better blended proteins on the market. 60 grams of protein and only 300 calories, awesome in that regard. Chocolate is kind of watery though because of low sugar content; I mixed with only 6 oz. of water instead of the 8 they reccomend. Flavour isn't the best but hey it works awesome.

Recommended Although I have been sold on Optimum Nutrition's protein for some time now, I really thought I could beat the system by measuring my 100% Gold Standard Whey to 60 grams of protein to get the same effect of the Pro Complex. I was wrong. Obviously these guys know what they're doing. It's a different end result and a different taste. I've tried vanilla mixed with gatorade and the taste is great. I'm not sore no matter how hard I push and I see more strength and definition with this over the Gold Standard. I still use Casein before bed and Nitro Core 24 for 1 meal replacement per day. This product is worth the extra cash.

Recommended The Best protien I have used. Taste is great, especially the Rocky Road!! I take two servings a day, coupled with Casien and Isopure at different points during the day. It is hard to get enough protien via eating, so this is a great help, with 60 grams each serving. Full of BCAA, vitamins and such. Protien is the key to growth and if you are cutting carbs to cut weight and fat, then you need addtional protien and BCAA to help replenish what is grabbed for energy. Great product!

Recommended really good post-workout protein. it's up there w/ Wheybolic Extreme 60 by GNC. i like the amino count and the fact that it has whey isolate complimented w/ calcium caseinate. it's kinda misleading when it says it uses 8 protein sources, when all they did was add individual aminos. very good for recovery and strength gains. i picked up a big tub for 75% off at a GNC and it was well worth the money. rocky road is better than i was thinking it was going to be, though im not a big fan of ON proteins. i wouldn't pay full price for it, but if you can find it close dated at your local GNC(which you can because there is a lot of them floating around out there right now) its def. worth a try

Recommended Optimum hit the bullseye with Pro Complex. As and athelete you need a lot of protein for your muscle recovery needs. Pro Complex combines 8 diferent sources for a truly complete protein source with fast, medium, and slow digested proteins to help feed your body's protein needs all day. I use this product because I need about 180 grams (1 gram per pound of body weight/day) and have seen great reusults. At 60 grams of protein per serving you will make sure all your protein bases are covered. The taste is the only downfall. The chocolate tastes like instant hot chocolate mix, the vanilla tastes alright, and the strawberry tastes like strawberry nesquick with and added chalky taste. I utilize it with my low-carb, high-protein diet and have become absolutely ripped. I highly reccomend this product both as a dedicated athelete (3 sport star, 2008 Lifter of the Year), and fellow fitness enthusiast. Optimum, GET SOME!
