Maybe Recommended I tried Black Powder a little while back. It came highly recommended from one of my buddies up at the gym. So, I figured why not, give it a shot. First off, kind of expensive. Secondly, I did not like the taste at all(I tried blue and orange). But, it is not all bad. The product itself, although a little pricey and having bad taste, works really great. I had great energy and I seemed to have really good focus. Pumps were pretty good as well. So I would recommend this if you can tolerate some bad taste, and do not mind dishing out a little extra cash.

Recommended I've taken NO-explod, Superpump 250, and naNO Vapor and nothing compares to Black Powder. I love the perfect mix of NO and caffeine. Fruit punch and blue raspberry both taste pretty good. If you know you're gonna use at least two bottles, you might as well get one of each so you can switch up the flavors from time to time. It is a little expensive, but it works!

Recommended Black Powder definitely is a great product. Dissolves well in the mixture and has a quite a fizzy taste to it. The pumps are great and increase my bicep strength by 10 lbs. I'm currently stacking it with NO2 Black, which works well together. The energy last the full 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The 2 cons for this product is that it's quite expensive and if you don't work out hard enough it will definitely keep you up for hours during the night.

You might be too young to take this stuff. On all the pre-workout supps I have taken, it says 18 and over.

Recommended Is the most effective pre-workout out there (pending how the new N.O. Explode NT). There is no wait; once you take this you are ready to hit the gym. Your energy will last well past your workout so you’re not tired afterwards. It does cost a little and pretty explosive once you mix it so watch on that one.

Recommended I am 5"10, 160 and I have one more serving of Black Powder left. This product is excellent at getting you pumped to workout. The energy you get is absolutely insane. I do tough ab exercises that require both a lot of mental and physical strength. When I take Black Powder I can almost double the reps and length of my ab exercises. If you are looking for a energy boost before your workout you have got to try MRI's Black Powder.
Make sure that you workout earlier in the day, because the energy boost can last for hours. I have experienced a lot of sleep deprivation while using Black Powder. I try to have my workout finish by 3 p.m.

Recommended This stuff is great. It really worked (for me at least). The thing that is great is that you can take it 5 minutes before your workout and you are all set. you dont have to wait 45 min. I start off my workouts with a 5 minute jog at around 7mph, and after taking Black Powder, it turned into a 7 minute run at a constant pace of 8.5 mph., and i had to stop myself from running more. The first day i took it i had the best bicep/back workout i have ever had. my biceps had that pumped up feeling for a few hours and i was sore for the next two days, which i love. i take a gluttamine-rich protein too, so thats saying something. I usually work out for an hour to an hour and half working 2-3 different parts of my body, and my second day of taking Black Powder i worked shoulders alone for an hour and fifteen. thats the kind of focus and motivation you get from this stuff. i started out by just buying a few of the 1-serving packets($1.89 each) too which is a good idea for anyone wanting to try this product, so you dont waste your money if it doesnt work for you, because i know some supps just have no effect on some people. GNC sells this product as 20 1-serving packets for $27 on gold card week, which i plan buying at the beginning of next month. If you buy the 1.75lb or whatever jar it runs about $56 on gold card week, and the 3lb jar is hitting the $80 range, which is definitely out of the question. Great product, just not a great price.
Also, use caution if you mix this in a shaker bottle. If you shake it up and leave the cover on for a second too long, you will have Black Powder all over you. Wither stir it in a glass or press the lid over your shaker bottle(NOT SCREWING IT ON) , and shake it really fast and take off the lid before you have a messy chemical reaction!

Recommended Black Powder is my favorite pre-workout supplement. I prefer blue raspberry to the other flavors. It makes lifitng much easier. When taken I have problems not over exerting and injuring myself. Works continually for the entire workout. much better in comparison to Dark Rage. It is expensive but worth it once your at the gym. Just be careful....it expands when mixed and shaken.

Recommended The best tasting N.O. product I've tried so far. Very Effervescent, dissolves almost instantly and mixes very easily, with little to no chunks of white matter floating to the bottom. Taste is tangy & ***ly, almost as if carbonated. Good energy, good pump, but nothing I would consider extraordinary or "superior". Doesn't cause near the stomach irritation that some unnamed brands cause... *cough*N.O.Xplode*cough*

Recommended For an N.O. product its awesome, i work out for at least 2 hours everytime i take it with no crash, everything went up at least 10 pounds, helps keep you motivated to work out, only bad side is after a couple of weeks you build a tolerance so i take it for a month and go off for a month

yeah, you have to cycle it as you do with any other NO or creatine product so that your body doesnt get too used to the effects. one month on and one off is the best way to go

Maybe Recommended Nothing really good to say about this. Tastes aweful, no effect on exercising. I was used to NO Xplode because it is stronger than Black Powder. NO Xplode tastes much better.

Recommended i've took this product 5 or 6 weeks ago and it worked completely till the last day i took it. it gives you so much energy in the gym, and it'll enable you to get way better workouts. and the taste is simply great. i took the orange burst flavor. the ONLY downside to Black Powder IS THE COST. it's nearly 70 bucks for one. but i definitely recommend it hands down

Recommended This product is becoming a staple in my workouts and is coming up short of tens all around for one simple reason, I don't get a real mental edge with it. While I may not get a mental edge, I noticed since I added it to my routine my recovery time has dropped considerably and I have been able to add one rep to almost every set everyday in my workouts, (power cleans aside)
WORD OF CAUTION if you mix in a shaker, and if you shake it too long it will explode all over you

NOT Recommended ive tried a lot of NO2 products and Black Powder was the most recent one. i used for a month before all my workouts. i never really felt to energized or focused while taking it, i mostly felt hot as hell. i did feel a slight pump wen i was on it but nothing special. i have taken Black Powder, no explode, naNO Vapor, and a new brand called arnge crush and they all sucked really, but i have taken another NO supplement made by Metrx called amped and i didnt expect it but it was the best pre supplement i ever took. i had crazy energy, i felt strong as hell, and all i wanted to do was lift. my next tub of NO will either be Metrx amped or i might try superpump based on good reviews

Maybe Recommended I have been using NO Black Powder for about three weeks now. I am stacking it with NO2 Black and CE2 Hi Def. I figured i would try BP becauese of the awesome reviews it had. For me it didnt feel much of an energy rush as caffine does not effect me at all. The pump were decent but i attribute that to the NO2 Black. I do realize that all supplements effect poeple differently. I would not buy this again especially because of the price. I will stick with NO Shotgun and looking forward to trying Jack3d and Hemorage.

on the bottle of Black Powder it says do not use with Creatine Ethyl Ester (CE2 is such a product) your body is probably passing a saturation point and you are deminishing returns on the products and literally ***ing out your money, both are good products though so I'd stack them with different stuff

Maybe Recommended I'm new to NO products, and given the reviews on NO Shotgun I was pretty set on trying that out first. Unfortuantely, the Four seasons here on post was all out of stock, so I decided to try out my second choice, Black Powder.
Perhaps I should have read the amounts better before purchasing, but you can probably imagine the nosedive my enthusiasm took when I opened up this titanic black cardboard monolith, only to find a signifigantly smaller jar inside, barely bigger than a can of chili (not to mention how expensive it was).
Upon mixing it with water, I made the mistake of using a shaker bottle. The lid nearly blasted off from the gas built up inside. It has a sort of 'baking soda and vinegar' reaction when you mix it, as it foams and fizzes profusely (I have yet to discover if this effect is functional, or just something that looks cool). Flavor (orange) was weird and salty. Fizziness made me gassy.
Seemed like nothing happened until I actually got to the gym, at which point I turned green, and grew massive in size, ripping my gym clothes.
Just kidding. Seriously though, this stuff did make me run wild on the weights as soon as I hit them. I was able to do more reps or more weight with every set. Pump only lasted for about half an hour though...
Afterwards my muscles did seem to stay unusually swollen, and my veins more prominent. A pleasing effect.
I've only been using Black powder for about three weeks, and overall, it's decent, but not worth the price. Unless it gets better over time, I probably won't buy another tub.

NOT Recommended I have been lifting for three years now and have tried many different pre-workout supplements. This has to be the worst i have taken. It did absolutely nothing for me, none of its claims("size","pumps","focus"). I felt no different 30-45 minutes into my workout than i did before drinking Black Powder. I don't mean to bash the product but for it's price, it's not even worth trying.

Recommended Allow me to begin by describing myself. I am a 20 year old man, 5'11, 168lbs. The best word to describe my body is "average". I have no six pack of abs, no swollen veins on my arms, and no sculpted shoulders. On the contrary, I have a slight gut and am not toned by any means. Again, I am purely average. Still, I manage to visit the gym on average 4x a week and through a combination of weights and cardio have managed to drop nearly 10lbs in the past month. My diet is fairly balanced, though I admit weakness for occasional burger/fries. Until today I took no other supplements with the exception of protein shakes following my heavy lifting days.
I drove to GNC one lazy morning and purchased two single servings of Black Powder, or BP (a serving sells for around $2). The value of this product on the whole is not bad. I'm certain it is more cost effective to buy the product in bulk, rather than in the single serve packets. However, these make consumption rather convenient.
I mixed one serving of BP (Fruit Explosion flavor) with 16oz cold water. The taste was mild, nothing spectacular, and on the whole easy ot drink. I drank it down as I left my house on the way to the gym. Any skepticism I might have had vanished not 5 mintues later. I went from feeling slightly drowsy to energized, alert/focused, and ready to hit the gym. I walked in and began lifting.
Understand that BP is not a miracle substance that immegiately makes you "Hulk out" so to speak. Don't get the mindset that you will suddenly be able to rep 150 when you've only been doing 115. What will happen, as I found out, is that you will be able to do many more reps than previously possbile. I was able to go from 3 sets to as many as 6-8 sets after taking BP. I stayed focused and lasted longer (my normally 35 min. workout became a 65 min. workout). Even now after my workout I still feel alert and ready for more.
I found few to no negatives with BP. I recommend that you drink plenty of water before and after your workout. I had one instance of cramping during my workout. As the label suggests, take BP on an empty stomach. I had no gastronomic issues with BP. If you are first time user, as I was, be advised: The effects of BP are intense! I found it almost frightening how much energy I had (to think that a tube of mystery dust did this...wow!). Just be safe and use responsibly.
I hope you found this review helpful.
