I felt less sore after workouts while taking wheybolic protein. I also like the taste. It is on the expensive side though and i now take Body Fortress super advance whey protein. Its not as tasty as wheybolic but it gets the job done for a fourth of the price.

This isn't the greatest protein.
Has a lot of new stuff that GNC added to it to beef it up and make it look like it has all these ingredients that you can't find elsewhere. Their probably right, but this didn't do much for me. I bought a tub, I used it in like 2 1/2 weeks. Really didn't see anything new.
Taste--is chocolate, if you tasted one you tasted all.
The price tag is ridiculous--what do you expect from GNC?

When this first came out, the $60 price tag was a clear rip off, I think we all agree on that. But now that GNC has lightened up on the price (got a tub for $35), it has a place in my supp inventory. You don't need 3 scoops... I take 2 and eat a meal 1 hour later, and I'm 210 lbs.. bench 325... Chocolate is awesome... i mix with rice milk for the quick carbs and it tastes great! I like the high concentration of BCAA's. Don't drink too fast or you will visit the bathroom. Recovery is decent, but I had better results with CytoGainer post workout. Overall, a decent product.

BUll***t. anyone who goes into a GNC and listens to the cashier is a sucker. They get a certain percent of everything u buy that has a GNC label on it. it way to expensive, and doesnt do anything more than basic Optimum 100% Whey protein. plus Optimum tastes way better and is more that half as cheap.

i was taking this for about 3 months while i was playing water polo. unfortunatly u cant lift too hard or u cant swim the next day but we had a month off and i started taaking 3 or four scoops a day. one in the morning aboult half before a workout and 1 and a half after. before the work out i was also taking some torque Body Fuel. i have never spent so much time sitting on the jhon as i did all that month. this stuff is ok but if u take too much u will feel it

Wheybolic 60 is the best protein i ever took. It taste really good (chocolate). The strength i get from this product is incredible i take it between 45 min to an hour prior to my workout. It's great to take everyday and you don't have to worry about it tasting horrible. Overall i rate this product high because it put on weight and size. Take this product at least 2 times a day and you will see what i am talking about.

This was my first supp i ever picked up, and while i was using it, i was just dieting, taking this post workout and before bed, and working hard. In 3 months of taking this stuff, i went through 2 of the 3lb jars. I put probably 20-25 lbs onto my bench in this time. Put around 10-15 lbs onto my EX bar curls too. I admit is a great quality gnc product. recovery was great with it because it contains a lot of glutamine. i was never sore the next day. decent product, but i dont reccomend it. its just too expensive, $43 for a 3 lb jar on gold card week at gnc is nuts. this does the job, nut for a high price. i would reccommend gaspari's myofusion, 2lbs for $20 on gold card, and a 5lb for $43 on gold card, or Optimum's 100% whey gold standard--thats what im taking right now, along with usp's jack3d as a preworkout. i got the 100% whey gold standard for $43 for a 5 lb. cant beat that. this protein gets the job done, but for a high price. if you do get it, get chocolate and dont get cookies and cream. i had to force myself to drink it. it tastes like throw up.

Not bad, taste great, but no need for so many scoops after a workout. This product is way too pricey for a 3lb isolate. If you have the money to continuously buy this go for it. Its an effective whey protein.

i got the chocolate like two weeks ago. the directions say to take three scoops but dont. ur body can't absorb 60 grams of protein in one sitting so taking the three scoops is wasting it. i mix two scoops (40 grams) with milk, a half of banana and one mint oreo and it taste very good. i get good energy while lifting. overall it's a good protein product but only two scoops per serving cause ur body can't take in 60.
|
| |
Reply #1:
Flag | Depending on your weight you should be able to absorb the whole 60 grams due to the fact that it is an isolate. If you are under 140 I would recommend cutting it down to 2 scoops but other than that 3 should be absorbed fine. It is the whey concentrates that you have to worry about absorbtion. |

I bought this at GNC, price was decent, flavor at first I thought was pretty boring, but I mixed a bottle up and put it in the fridge for at least a day, it no longer tasted chalky and the flavor tasted good, easy to drink, and this past week Ive had tons of energy working out, I Kick almost everyday and I feel very little soreness...Overall a good product in my opinion

1 cup of milk
7 ice cubes
3 scoops of extreme 60 (vanilia)
1 spoon full of peanut butter
2-3 secs of falling chocolate
4 oreos
1/2 a banana
it tastes Great. I just got back into the gym after 2 years. I was 155 and dumble pressing 110 in each hand about 5 times. Now i'm 144 and having a hard time with 60lbs dumble presses. So i've gone a week in the gym without any supplements, then went to gmc to buy a tub of muscle milk and the guy ended up selling me this stuff. I'll let you know how it does in about 4-6 weeks.
I would like its too expencive lol. com[ared to the rest of the stuff. btw i eat 3 packs of oatmeal or grits pre-workout (always have).

Full of good stuff, and will aid in recovery, but the difference is minimal. It didn't help build any additional muscle that wouldn't have naturally happened by increasing protein intake. Still, in my opinion, it's a very overpriced protein powder that is just a more advanced version of GNC's regular protein. You could take a couple extra scoops of the regular stuff and get nearly the same effect if you're looking for a lot of protein, amino acids, etc. As for the percentage increases and clinically tested stuff, that is complete marketing. Don't let that be the reason you try it. If you have the money and the regular junk isn't doing it, try it, maybe your body will react differently. If you are satisfied with your protein and just want to see if the hype is worth it, don't waste your time. Oh, and if you're interested, taste was half decent, only go chocolate.

Extremely great product with very good amino profile, whey isolate, digestive enzymes so you can digest the 60 grams. I'm very pleased with this product due to the BCAA content, which is around the 2:1:1 ratio, so that makes it great. However, it's bit more expensive, and only 18 servings. I've tried all the flavors, and Banana seems to be the best of them all, and strawberry being the worst, in my opinion. Recovery was decent, and with this product, it's very easy to fit in your daily macro's. It's excellent on a cut, especially on a 0-30g carb days. No bloating and no lactose due to isolate. I just wish this product was cheaper.

i have been taking this product for about a month now only taking 2 scoops after workout and i think it tastes great, and your recovery afterwards is awesome. i messed up my shoulder pretty bad during wrestling and my bench went down alot. im about 190 and a junior in high school and my bench was stuck at 275-285 but after taking this and with a pre workout supp. Black Powder... my bench is now at 305 and that was the first week i used this. this product is out of control!

I bought this product about a month ago. I have had almost every protein powder out their and this rates up there with the worst in taste. Syntha 6 you are the best please give these guys the recipe.

Reply #1:
Flag | syntha 6 also has high cholesterol. compare a scoop of syntha 6 to a scoop of Muscle Milk in terms of nutritional facts. wheybolic = low fat, high protien |

I'm 41 years old 5'7 183 and trying to lose some weight. I was injured a few years ago while lifting and stopped for almost 7 years. Prior to that I'd lifted pretty consistently since high school.
The taste of the Chocolate Wheybolic Extreme 60 was awesome. It killed any craving I might have had for a sugary product. No side effects at all. I'm not using any other supplements.
Currently, I'm doing about 60 minutes of Cardio Per Day (trying to drop weight) so I'm burning rougly 700 calories on either the elliptical or the treadmill. The Wheybolic extreme 60 is about 280 calories per day. So I am way ahead of the game, for weight loss, got to burn more than you take in to lose weight.
For strength, I'm doing, Sunday Chest, Monday Back, Tuesday Triceps, Wednesday Biceps, Thursday Shoulders.
Bench I'm using 85 lb dumbbells 3 sets of 10 (remember I was injured, I tore off my biceps tendon). 225 lb flat bench 3 sets 8. Decline Machine Hammer Strength(I can Cheat a little) 115 per arm. Back Row machine 160lbs per arm. I'm not going to list the rest. I've only been back in the gym for 3 months. I just started using Wheybolic Extreme 60 about 3 weeks ago. Alot of the strength is possibly muscle memory but with the amount of cardio I'm doing I'm surprised at the strength gains I'm making.
